In the run up to the Achi-Nagoya 2026 Para Asian Games, we in the HKSAR are all prepared to watch the Hong Kong, China Delegation shine and excel among Asia’s elite Para athletes.

Aside from being a celebration of athletic prowess, the Asian Paralympic Games provides a stage for Asian Para sportsmen to showcase their potential, courage and resilience, all of which form the very bedrock of the Paralympic Movement.

Over the decades, Hong Kong athletes have continued to make the SAR proud with their remarkable achievements, netting medals after medals in the international arena. Yes, those are the results of their uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Yet, they also know too well that their success cannot come about without the backing and support of the coaches, medical personnel and support staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Here, I wish to say a ‘Big Thank You’ to the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, the Hong Kong Sports Institute, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, our National Spors Associations and all our partners, for the invaluable support you give to China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee throughout the years.

To every member of the Hong Kong, China Delegation, I wish you a rewarding experience and above all, a triumphant Asian Para Games. May you surpass your personal bests and come home with the pride and glory which make Hong Kong proud.

Mrs Jenny Fung SBS BBS JP
